Forest Lane is a completed independent residence at Chattarpur in New Delhi, set within the quiet, tree-lined farmhouse lanes of the area.
The plan moves from wide social spaces on the ground level to private rooms above. Glazing is generous where the garden gives something back, and held tighter where the boundary is close. Materials are warm and restrained — timber, stone and dark metal — chosen so the house ages well.
